Our fan-film project had its own forum for a long time using a different forum engine. Unfortunately, due to lots of technical problems, that forum died a slow death and was taken offline in September 2013.
Since then, the discussions have moved to Facebook, yet not everyone wants to use that service and it is much harder to look at older discussions. We kept hearing lots of requests to reinstate the old forum, but that did not happen until now.
This new forum has been designed to have the same basic structure as the old forum, yet using the much more powerful and stable phpBB engine. Further, it has been moved from startreknewvoyages.com to the Forums.group platform website at https://stnv.forums.group/ which has proved itself to be much more stable and reliable.
On that note, the new forum has now been officially reopened and we look forward to hosting your discussions on everything to do with Star Trek New Voyages: Phase II, worldwide!
It is very easy to join this forum
May the new forum "Live long and prosper!"

I find the forum's response is great. Of course, no significant activity as yet. BTW, I have downloaded most of the episodes, vignettes next. That leads me to a couple questions:
1) Do the downloads com from the same server where the website and forum are hosted?
2) What are the image storage limits on this forum per user? That was a long-time issue on al the prior forums.

Hi Gary,
1) Yes, the downloads, website and forum are all on the same webserver. However, the domain names are served from a different server. In an emergency, I could quickly switch to the other server if this server were to go offline.
2) This can be set individually according to usergroup. For those in the Cast and Crew group, there are currently no limits. File size cannot exceed 64MB. As long as I have space on my webserver (about 500GB still unused), we should be OK.
As you are a Super Moderator, you can look at the configuration settings, yourself.
